Today is my wife's birthday. She wanted to go to a little diner and on our way we passed a spot where they have car shows on saturday nights. We never go to these shows because they happen around the time my son is eating and getting ready for bed. On our way back, we swung in and saw a couple things. It was pretty empty since it was only about 5:30. There was an older Viper GTS, two C7 Stingrays, a bright yellow Zr1 that had "697 hp" painted on the side (I don't know why), an e46 M3, a super old Porsche, and then BOOM... A black Morgan. We didn't have a lot of time so I didn't get a chance to talk to the guy. I have never seen one in person before. Not really sure why, but I was surprised at how small it was. There was also a twin turbo SS Camaro but the hood was closed for some reason. Not bad for an almost empty, small town car show.

Edit: The Morgan. It was very simplistic but sleek. The seats looked like an afterthought. They had some spare material laying around and stretched it over some wood. The tiny engine also looked huge.

There was a Lingenfelter CTS-V at the show. No idea which package it had, though.

Wow the Morgan looks great in all black. It's almost in a way, slightly steampunk in style.

Yeah definitely. It was very simplistic but sleek. The seats looked like an afterthought. They had some spare material laying around and stretched it over some wood. The tiny engine also looked huge.

I saw my first one a few weeks ago, and the engine does look huge, thought it isn't really a small engine at all, bigger then what you'd get in your average average compact (Cruze, Dart maybe?). I had no idea it was over 1900 cc's, it's about a 2 liter motor.

All great picture and a great turn out of cars. But, do you have any photos of that 55 primer Chevy. Looks pretty bad ass with those drag tires.

Thanks! I actually didn't take any of it because there are so many others like it here. Don't remember exactly what the car is, but there was a lookalike to Harrison Ford's car from American Graffitti. Even had a quote from the movie on the back. That was pretty cool.

Wow, I didnt realize it was that big. 1900cc is a big motor for that thing. I'm not sure which paint scheme I like more. They both look pretty B.A.

Even better. I was talking about the grey one in the last picture right about the Morgen.

Yeah, its a ...1983 to be exact, and the car in general looks b/a, to bad it cost so much for what it is..I want one now, lol

I reread my comment and I was fairly unclear. I meant I didn't take photos of the grey one because it is a common car/style around here. The American Graffiti car was a second, different thought.

I bet it's a great, cruising, car-show-car.

Dude, I was AT this Cars & Coffee! Louisville, CO, right? I notice your profile pic is of a bright yellow Z3 M coupe. I saw a similar one at that C&C; was it yours?

That little Morgan is a real cracker, isn't it? It has a strange amount of presence in person, particularly for such a small car. Reminds me of Mini's "look at me, I have a stance like a bulldog, I'm not normal" advertisements, except in the Morgan's case, it's actually true.

Then it was probably the same one, and I wasn't the only other OPPO there, I've heard from at least 4 others that were there (didn't meet any in person :/) Including the owner of the Exotic driving experience company (he's a OPPO :D) And nuh, the gray Z33 parked beside it is mine, however the M Coupe was in my group and one of my friends, lol
